Victor Guida

Holds a PhD in Archaeology from the National Museum/UFRJ, with a degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Works in the area of Bioarchaeology, focused on the study of burned human remains, paleopathology and oral health.

In his PhD, he researched the impact that National Museum fire caused on the skeletal remains of four mummified individuals from the institution’s Egyptian collection. He also carried out bioanthropological analyses on the burned bones of these individuals.
