Holds a PhD in Archaeology from the Museu Nacional, UFRJ and an MA from the same institution. Her dissertation was titled “Análise do painel da cena de oferendas da Sala Alpha – Tumba Real de Amarna” (An Analysis of the Offering Panel Scene in the Alpha Room of the Royal Amarna Royal Tomb).
