Fourth SEMNA – 28 Nov to 2 de Dez 2016
The fourth edition of the SEMNA conference took place between 28 Nov and 2 Dec 2016. Several scholars and students of all levels from Brazil and abroad attended the conference. Our keynote lecturer was Laure Pantalacci from the University of Lyon 2. A broad range of topics were discussed in the event as can be seen below.

Third SEMNA – November 30 to December 4 2015
The third edition of SEMNA took place on November 30 to December 4 2015, bringing together several Brazilian and foreign researchers. The most prominent papers were given by our Argentinian collaborators, and we also hosted a number of talks about our excavations in Luxor. This was the first edition to include papers in addition to posters by those who signed up to present.

Second SEMNA – December 2-5 2014
The Second SEMNA took place from December 2-5, 2014. Brazilian and foreign researchers got together to discuss diverse Egyptological topics. We were honored with the presences of both Christiane Zivie-Coche (Director of studies at the École pratique des hautes étudespresence) and François Leclère (Director of excavations at Tanis).
Many researchers from both Brazil and Argentina sent posters that were exhibited at the event. The poster presentations were followed by a discussion with Egyptologists who contributed to the development of graduate students’ research and raised questions about more advanced projects.
